Serving children birth through age 5 provides a child-centered, activity-based, interactive model of service delivery (home-based or group) that facilitates sessions reflective of a child’s natural environment. We provide developmentally enhancing activities that utilize current best practices in early childhood education/intervention and address sensory integration issues. These individually designed sessions provide developmental intervention (DI) services to address all areas of development, the child’s developmental goals and the family’s concerns. This program provides support and parent education regarding community resources, child development and issues associated with the unique learning styles of children with Down syndrome.
- Our mission is to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families by providing support, information, education, and advocacy for their rights and concerns, thus enabling each individual to reach his or her full potential.
