The ADA day program offers academic programming, life skills classes and community outings for those who have completed high school. Members will participate daily in reading, math, and computer skills in addition to a variety of elective subjects of their choice. Classes are small to enhance the members learning experience and ability to participate.
Because we know good health is one key to living a long and happy life, members will participate in daily healthy movement activities, such as yoga, boxing, walking, etc. ADA members also learn to prepare a healthy snack each week and will become familiar with healthy versus unhealthy food choices and how to use kitchen tools and appliances.
Classes are taught by certified teachers and trained assistants.
